Eagles Nest Project

Eagle’s Nest Project

Kevin is involved with the McKinney Aviation Academy (MAA) as a Mentor. MAA is part of the McKinney, Texas School District.

MAA has teamed up with the Eagle’s Nest Projects bringing students a unique, inspiring, and empowering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) educational experience.

Under the supervision of several volunteer Mentors (Kevin included), the students are building an airplane that will be certified by the FAA upon completion. Each student involved in the build of the aircraft will be offered 20 hours of flight instruction, for free!.

Eagle’s Nest Projects is a 501c3 Public Charity and the school projects are made possible through generous donations from individuals, businesses, grants, and foundations. One hundred percent (100%) of the donations received are used to directly fund Eagle’s Nest build-projects and other Eagle’s Nest related activities.

MAA is currently in the process of building what will be the fourteenth RV-12 built under the Eagle’s Nest Projects. The Aircraft itself is often referred to as ENP-14
